Do you find it OUTRAGEOUS the Consultation for a $28M Project present minimal evidence of ecological, heritage and cultural context as a basis to respect trees, natural functions, wildlife and views in the unique context of Beautiful Burramatta.
Consultation needs to accept a "No" in Objection and be withdrawn. Making a few "tweaks", then pressure the Councillors to "rubber-stamp" approval is not best-practice.
Its time to inspire Councillors to push past the deficiencies and negative impacts of the first "Concept Draft" put on Exhibit.
This is needed especially as the Draft appears a product of a flawed "design first, then investigate, then 'mitigate' the impacts" process and bureaucracy.
Please write to Councillors. Highlight a request for a Full Design Revision.

It is entirely reasonable & necessary to revise the Draft, please be asking for:
- Nature-positive, well informed, best-practice & design for country
- Elevated freestanding accessible boardwalks offering eco-experience
- Authentic riverbank restoration (see pic), regeneration not devastation
- A higher standard of cultural heritage respect and integration
- Sponge City policy to "lead by example" - not new concrete riverbanks
- Aesthetic and embedded art over plain hard engineered dominance
- Minimal impact to not fill / domesticate 'natural' riparian habitat corridors
- Instream water-quality with floating & reed-bed wetland margins
- and why not a row-boat hire point at the Marsden Weir deck crossing
Thank you for caring and sharing.
