Thanks for reaching out to share both your concerns and that of your neighbors regarding the ground water supply and Delco's exploration.
The Commissioners are aware of the situation and did recently correspond with the Director of the Ohio EPA asking for a meeting to hear from Delco Water.
Licking County is under considerable pressure related to development and it is important we are thoughtful about protecting our natural resources, such as the critical ground water supply.
We understand that a meeting with Delco Water is scheduled for Tuesday, July 29th at 6:00pm at the Utica Church of Christ.
I plan to attend and hopefully you and your fellow concerned residents will be represented.
We certainly share your concerns when a major multi-county private water development company is exploring in our County and drilling test wells.
