More and more products are being designed so we can’t repair them, forcing us to replace things that could easily be fixed.

And, if you can’t repair something, do you really own it?

Right to Repair laws help fix this by requiring companies to provide the parts, tools, and information needed to repair the products we already paid for.

Maine is considering a Right to Repair bill (LD 1908), but this issue goes far beyond one state.

This is about protecting our ability to fix what we own, save money, and reduce unnecessary waste.
