Protect Our Right to Choose What We Consume

The Issue

We call for an urgent review of fluoride being added to public drinking water.

Fluoride may have benefits for dental health—but it is already widely available in toothpaste and other products. Adding it to tap water removes individual choice, exposing entire populations to a substance they cannot easily avoid.

Like many substances, fluoride is known to be harmful at high doses. This raises an important and reasonable question:

What are the effects of continuous, lifelong exposure, even at low levels?

This is not just a health issue—it is a matter of personal autonomy and informed consent.

Individuals should have the right to decide what they ingest daily
Public health policies should be regularly reviewed in light of modern alternatives
Long-term exposure to any substance—however small—deserves ongoing scrutiny

In a society where fluoride is already accessible by choice, its addition to a shared resource like water should be reconsidered.

We are not calling for fear—we are calling for choice, transparency, and accountability.

“Fluoride is already in toothpaste. That means people can choose to use it.

So why is it also being added to our drinking water—something we all rely on and cannot easily avoid?

We know that fluoride, like many substances, can be harmful at high doses.

So it’s fair to ask:

what does lifelong, daily exposure—even at low levels—actually mean?

This isn’t about fear. It’s about choice.

Right now, that choice is taken away.

In a modern society, where alternatives already exist, should something be added to everyone’s water without consent?

We deserve transparency.

We deserve review.

And most importantly—we deserve the right to decide what we put into our own bodies.”
