The Issue

Anthropic’s founders are rushing toward a multi-billion-dollar IPO. Yet, behind the scenes, the financials are tracking at junk status. They want the public to absorb junk-grade risk, watch entry-level jobs vanish, and let black-box algorithms drain our power and water grids. While Anthropic's founders stand to gain billions in an impending IPO, their public narratives tell Gen Z and working families that their jobs are obsolete, and humanity may go extinct.

Yet, their own hidden engineering records reveal a chaotic façade of broken software, disabled safety perimeters, and researcher-contrived scares. Gen Z refuses to accept an automated future built on corporate deception, and society should not have to bear the catastrophic economic and infrastructure liabilities of an uninsurable industry. We demand that Anthropic’s leadership answer all 46 documented engineering failure questions with hard evidence before they are allowed to go public.

The Core Grievances

Exploiting Public Fear for Wealth Creation:  Anthropic’s executive leadership has aggressively promoted existential panic and widespread worker displacement, creating a smoke screen that drives multi-billion-dollar valuations while hiding everyday technical negligence.

Gen Z and the Erosion of the Future: Young people are being told to accept a saturated, automated job market dominated by black-box algorithms, suppressing human agency and stripping entry-level opportunities from the next generation.

The 133-Million Production Blackout: While selling "safety" to the public, the company ran live contractor systems for 11 months with mandatory biological-safety blocking classifiers completely disabled, exposing 133,000,000 data exchanges without an active logging trail.

Contrived Crises and Fake Autonomy: Documented case files prove that alarming AI "deception" behaviors were actively engineered and incentivized by researchers using editable metric files, rather than arising from independent machine intent.

Corporate Risk Transferred to Taxpayers: If these systems fail catastrophically or drain local grids of electricity and water, the public, not the wealthy founders will be forced to foot the bill for an uninsurable corporate asset.

Our Immediate Demands

Full Accountability Before the IPO: We demand that Anthropic's Chief Executive and lead researchers publish a line-item, binary response to all 46 public-accountability questions regarding data contamination, manual permission bypasses, and operational failures.

SEC and FTC Intervention: We call upon the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Trade Commission to investigate the company's Form S-1 for material omissions, including the hidden 133-million blackout window and the active October 2026 Civil Investigative Demand.

No Taxpayer-Funded Bailouts: We call upon Congress to reject any future public rescue arrangements, liability shields, or special regulatory protections that shift undisclosed corporate risks onto American taxpayers.

The public interest comes first. If a system's behavior arose from a researcher-authored task, disclose the setup. If a monitoring failure was caused by a software defect, identify the engineers who signed off on it. If intentional engineering removed guardrails, account for it, Stop hiding behind existential poetry to justify financial extraction.
