Hello everyone,

Thank you all so much for your continued and overwhelming support. I have a lot to update you on, some positive developments and unfortunately some difficult news. Through it all, I'm staying strong, ensuring my daughter is happy and healthy.

Navigating life as a single mama is far from easy, especially after the profound trauma I experienced while pregnant and in the aftermath. I'm deeply grateful to be working closely with FearIsNotLove, where I receive incredible peer and court support. It's crucial for me to reach out and speak openly about my trauma; it's how I heal and become the best possible mother for my daughter. This painful cycle stops with me.

My deepest hope is that my daughter will never have to face the challenges I've encountered. I envision a system where family court and family law truly stand with victims and prioritize healing instead of re-traumatization. Where Justices and Judges leave their personal biases outside the courtroom, and the best interests of the child are genuinely prioritized over biological ties. Where the non-payment of child support is rightly seen as a significant factor against unfit parentage, and where trauma-informed training and practices are at the absolute forefront of this currently broken system.

I'll be writing another update in the coming days. There's so much more to share, and so much change we need to fight for. Please share this petition, speak up about these critical issues, and stand beside me. We have the power to change this system. We can protect our children.
