The April 7th court appearance yielded a more favorable outcome than anticipated. While the history of abuse and ongoing harassment was largely disregarded, the Justice recognized my infant daughter's needs, ruling that I may remain present during the applicants supervised visits to provide comfort if required. The Justice also mandated parenting classes for the applicant and excluded his family members from visitation. Furthermore, the applicant's claims regarding child support and mediation were refuted, with the Justice acknowledging my lawyer's effective representation. I'm grateful for this outcome, but remain concerned about the system's failure to adequately address the impact of abuse on children. The applicant's retaliatory applications underscore the need to prevent narcissistic abusers from weaponizing the court system. Separately, I received confirmation from the RCMP that charges are recommended in the sexual assault case and are now with the Crown. I remain committed to protecting my daughter and standing against abuse. I am strong. I am safe. I am happy.
