Our children deserve to feel safe at school — and right now, many of them don’t.

I am speaking out about the severe and ongoing bullying happening in the Union County School District. While this issue affects many families, it has deeply impacted my own daughter.

The bullying began when she was in 6th grade, and instead of improving, it has escalated. She has endured defamation through notes being passed around, threats, social isolation, and even death-related messages. Today, the situation became even more frightening — she was nearly physically attacked in a school hallway.

No child should come home crying, questioning their worth, or feeling afraid to go to school. No child should ever believe the world would be better without them.

I am standing up not only for my daughter, but for every child who is suffering in silence.

To those kids: You are worthy. You matter. This is not your fault.

We need accountability. We need action. We need change.
