Children should not fear for their lives when they go to school.  Parents should not be afraid to send their children to school.  Teachers should not have to shelter children from bullets! 

Every day millions of people pass through metal detectors in airports, civic buildings and courthouses.  Thousands of churches have armed police officers at their services on Sunday mornings.  

Why are we not prioritizing the safety of our children and teachers at schools?

It’s time to install metal detectors and armed officers in every school both public and private across Tennessee! 

This should be a no brainer solution to stop violent attacks on our beautiful children.
