Thank you so much for supporting the cause to protect our Waahi Tapu.

We wanted to know if you can do one other thing, maybe a couple. Please check out the Protect Nukuhau facebook page and give us a like and follow. And when you share the petition please tag the page so people can view the link from the page and get a better glimpse of whats been going on since 2020, and so we can share your post to our newsfeed, this way we can generate more supporters and hopefully attract the media. 

Our petiton was sent to Tama Potaka this week, we're not sure how he's going to respond or even if he will but hopefully he gets the message and begins to make some inquiries around the topic within Hamilton City Council, the Ministry for the Environment and Parliament. 

Just a few more signatures needed, and then we make our way forward onto the next step to create our parliamentary petition. There are a few politicians we have in mind to receive our petition(s) with a time yet to be confirmed. We want to reach our target first, but we'll just keep our options open at the moment and see who really has the passion and potential to receive and raise the issues within the central government.
