For over twenty-five years, Milton Keynes Gymnastics (Kingston) community has been a hub of support, growth, and belonging, offering countless children a safe space to dream, learn, and thrive. The club has been the heart of the neighborhood, and now, thousands of kids and staff, whose lives are intertwined with its existence, face an uncertain future.

On 15th August 2026, after seven months of repeated attempts to communicate with MKCF without receiving a response, we received a letter informing us that our lease would no longer be renewed. This decision has placed the future of our club in serious jeopardy and threatens to dismantle everything we have worked so hard to build. The reasons behind this decision remain undisclosed, leaving us in the dark and forcing a community into disarray. Immediate suspension of the termination notice is critical to ensure a just and thoughtful deliberation on this matter.

We demand full disclosure of the reasons for the lease termination, so the community can understand and actively participate in the discussion. Additionally, a formal meeting between decision-makers and club representatives is essential to construct a viable, sustainable plan moving forward. Only through transparent communication and collaborative problem-solving can we hope to preserve this treasured institution.

The club’s impact on the community is undeniable. According to research, community centers like ours have been shown to reduce crime rates and contribute positively to local economies, particularly vital for the development and wellbeing of children. We must fight to preserve it not only for current members and staff but for future generations to come.

This is why we're calling on decision-makers to consider the broad impact of their actions and to engage with transparency and responsibility. We need your support to bring about change and protect our community's legacy.

This club is not just a place—it's their home, livelihood, and the dream that kept them moving forward through challenges and triumphs. For those who struggle with shyness, hardship, or loneliness, this club was their refuge. It was where they stopped feeling invisible and started believing in themselves. Closing it snatches away the one thing that made them shine.  Many have spent years—years of early mornings, sore muscles, quiet hope, working toward goals they now see vanish. They ask, “What did I do wrong?” and we have no answer to give them. Their hard work, dedication, and joy feel worthless through no fault of their own.

We plead with you:
Do not let our children learn that hard work and loyalty count for nothing. Do not let them carry this sadness and loss. Reverse this decision, give us clarity, and save the place that means everything to them.
