Louisville NEEDS fire mitigation. With winds picking up and multiple Red Flag warnings a week, fire is an extremely high risk. Just the Marshall Fire alone was traumatic; what if there was another big fire right after we've rebuilt and destroyed another 3 billion dollars. Me and my brother, lost our house just 21 weeks after we moved here to Louisville. I would say we we're very lucky to have family that we could evacuate to. It was so sudden that we had to stay there for about a month.Overall, my point is that I want my neighbors their houses and all families to be safe. If enough people sign this and we show it to city council and they approve then people's houses won't burn down as easily. Fire mitigation examples include fiber cement siding, metal fences and ember resistant vents.
