We call for the immediate establishment of an Exclusion Zone around the Cladhan Hotel and the adjoining Kemper Avenue. This practical measure, led by Police Scotland, would serve as a vital buffer to mitigate disruption and restore a sense of normalcy for local residents.

As a Falkirk resident, it deeply troubles me to see the tangible impact that the weekly protests are having on those living nearby. Residents in the surrounding tower blocks have voiced numerous complaints about unbearable noise levels, which have become a persistent disruption, encroaching on their basic right to peace and comfort within their own homes.

From children struggling to sleep, to elderly individuals unable to rest due to the constant disturbances, the effects are wide-ranging and harmful. What was once a tranquil neighbourhood has been transformed into an echo chamber of chaos, hindering daily life and diminishing mental well-being. Our residents deserve a peaceful environment, free from unwanted noise and tension they did not choose.

The concerns voiced by those living next to the Cladhan Hotel and along Kemper Avenue should no longer fall on deaf ears. Immediate intervention is needed to safeguard the rights and well-being of Falkirk residents, while also upholding the community spirit that defines our region.
