Thank you for standing with Project34 as we continue fighting for health equity, oversight, and accountability at Roseland Community Hospital. Over the past several months, our petition has grown because more residents, employees, and families have spoken up about the systemic issues affecting patient care.
As many of you know, our petition outlines serious, ongoing concerns related to:
- unsafe staffing levels
- delayed emergency care
- surgical safety concerns
- repeated failing grades from national safety organizations
- leadership and governance failures
Because these concerns continue and because every member of our community deserves to be safe when seeking care we are sharing the following reminder with all supporters:
Patient Safety Tips for Anyone Receiving Care at Roseland
You have the right to:
- Research/ Google your physician
- Ask questions about your care plan or procedure
- Request a second opinion
- Bring a trusted family member or advocate
- Speak with a charge nurse or hospital patient advocate
- Request a transfer to another facility if you feel unsafe, unsupported, or uncomfortable
- Review publicly available hospital safety grades (Click Here)
- Report unsafe conditions to IDPH or ACHC
This message is part of our broader community education effort and is being sent to all petition supporters, as we work to ensure that every patient in Roseland knows their rights and has access to the information needed to protect themselves and their families.
