Did you know?
Kensal Green Cemetery opened in 1833 and was the first of London’s famous “Magnificent Seven” garden cemeteries, created when the city’s overcrowded churchyards could no longer cope with demand. Today it contains more than 250,000 burials —the size of a small city—and is visited every day by families, mourners, and local residents.
We’ve also managed to raise £2,500 towards our legal fees. To ensure that the planning process is properly followed, we need £20,000 for expert legal support. If you can, please also consider contributing a small amount to our legal fund. Even £5.00 or £10.00 makes all the difference.

Thank you again for your support — and for helping others understand why the magnificent Kensal Green Cemetery deserves protection for future generations of Londoners.
