Thank you for all your posts on social networking sites on Saturday. Thanks to you, we were able to reach many people who were learning about the planned redevelopment and associated tree cutting for the first time.
Also just yesterday (3/6) a very good article appeared in Nikkan Sports.
Our next action: Emails and phone calls to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government
Today, Monday the 7th, and tomorrow, Tuesday the 8th, we need to speak out louder and louder.
Because this Wednesday, March 9, is the deadline for Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike to make a final decision on the plan (as it will be one month from the plan’s approval by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Urban Planning Council).
To dissuade Governor Koike from approving the plan, let's email or call her office directly to let her know what we think! Our voices put together can be a powerful force.
Anyone can submit an opinion to the Tokyo government’s "Citizens' Voice General Contact Center" by e-mail, even anonymously.
Potential messages can be things like “Please don't cut down the trees in Jingu Gaien," "Revise the Jingu Gaien District Plan," "We don’t need more high-rise buildings," “Don't reduce the parks space," "Protect the landscape of gingko trees," "Don't eliminate the softball fields and driving ranges that citizens use," and so on. Put it in your own words. Your voice will help protect Jingu Gaien!

Thanks in advance for taking the time to do this today or tomorrow. Your voice will make a difference!
