We, undersigned residents of Sedona, are concerned about the increasing levels of Javelina and Coyote abuse that disrupt the peace and tranquility of our very special community. As Coyotes and their young, Javelinas and their young are impacted hurtfully, we experience significant disturbances that impact our quality of life and well-being.

Reasons for Concern:

1. Quality of Life: Javelinas and Coyotes are an inherent part of life in Sedona and are original dwellers that must be protected. This abuse disturbs our daily routines, outdoor activities, our pets, and peaceful enjoyment of our homes.

2. Environmental Impact: Excessive abuse, affecting wildlife and the natural environment that we cherish in Sedona.

3. Safety Concerns: The abuse of wildlife can pose safety risks and create unnecessary stress for residents and visitors alike.

Our Request:

We respectfully petition local authorities and relevant stakeholders to take immediate action to reduce abuse levels of native wildlife in Sedona. We propose the following measures:

1. Regulation and Enforcement: Implement stricter regulations on treatment of Javelinas and Coyotes.

2. Community Engagement: Establish a platform for dialogue between residents, and local officials to address concerns and find effective solutions.

3. Monitoring and Reporting: Develop a system for monitoring levels of abuse and encourage residents to report instances of excessive abuse of wildlife to the appropriate authorities.
