Petition updateProtect Farmers' Tenancy and Human RightsWe Still Need Your Support As We Appeal District Judge Obodai's Decision

We would like to thank you all for your continued support and I apologise for the lack of update on our situation.

The shock of losing my Mum has been heart wrenching and unfortunately due to this situation I have not had any time to come to terms, or indeed grieve...

On one day I was preparing documents to attend Court, on the next day I was preparing a eulogy for my Mums funeral - all of which was sureal, traumatic and exhausting.

With three very good reasons, we requested an adjournment to the hearing (25th April 2025) not least because we had no legal representation in place since firing our unscrupulous lawyers.

Disappointingly the adjournment was denied.  It was a 'very unfair, biased hearing'. District Judge Obodai dismissed our application to have the Posession Order set asisde and did not acknowledge that Bolton Council had breached 'Agreement', which we deemed 'null and void' - evidence was not acknowledged.

We are appealing the decision of District Judge Obodai and we believe that our Human Rights were once again breached, by not allowing us the time to secure legal representation. Emails were provided to show that this was in process and other evidence in our case was submitted however not aknowledged.

David and I are both exhausted, however we will continue to fight Bolton Council.        We do not want to lose our home and thus be made homeless,  we do not want to lose our businesses, including our cattery (pictured)  thus left without an income.          There is no infrastructure in place in our village and wildlife habitat will be displaced.    There can be a better, fairer outcome...

Please share far and wide to family and friends.

Thankyou again, David and Karen
