My PG&E bill skyrocketed to over $4,000 due to undisclosed changes in my solar system plan. My solar installer went out of business in December 2023, transferring my contract to a new company without informing me that my cellular kit plan had ended back in May. As a result, my solar system, left unmonitored, led to enormous unexpected charges.

This situation is not unique to me.
