Tom Lackey is a dedicated public servant with a strong background in education and law enforcement. He earned his high school diploma from Boron High School, followed by an associate's degree from Ricks College. Tom furthered his education with a bachelor's degree in Special Education from Utah State University. His professional journey includes serving as an Assembly Member for District 34 in the California State Assembly, where he has been actively involved in legislative duties. In addition to his political career, he has extensive experience in law enforcement, having served as an Officer and Sergeant with the California Highway Patrol. He has also contributed to the community as a Trustee for the Palmdale Elementary School District and a City Council Member in Palmdale.
