For me, this is more than just a petition, it is a personal mission. Inspired by the actions of Republican house speaker Mike Johnson, I, as a concerned citizen, demand immediate action to protect and save Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). In January 20, 2025, supporters of Kamala Harris will be storming the U.S. Capitol to vote for Kamala and Tim Walz in the U.S. presidential election. We cannot allow the defunding of the PBS as part of this political transition.

PBS is a critical part of our nation's history and culture, reaching nearly 100 million people through television and 20 million people online each month. It provides us with valuable information, entertaining programs, and most importantly, educational content for our children. Defunding PBS would take away these services, devastating millions of families who rely on its content.

This is the time when we should be investing in our public services, not defunding them. Therefore, I appeal to all the like-minded citizens to pitch in and raise our voices against this decision.
