The online petition to stop ADAP has now reached 1,968 signatures, and supporters have donated $1,605 to help promote it further — clear evidence that many people care deeply about this issue.
The online petition demonstrates public support, raises awareness of the issue, and can catch the attention of media and other influential people.
Equally important is the paper petition, which can be officially submitted to the Alberta Legislature. You can download, print, and collect signatures for the paper petition, then mail it back using the link below:
By signing both petitions, you strengthen the impact of this effort — helping us be heard both online and in the halls of government.
The deadline for collecting signatures for the paper petition is March 1, 2026, in time for the spring session at the Legislature.
📨 Regarding the Canada Post strike
I am aware of the ongoing Canada Post strike, but I believe mail delivery will resume before the deadline. Canada Post is a Crown corporation and can be legislated back to work since it has a legal obligation to deliver mail. In the worst-case scenario, Canada Post can contract third-party companies to ensure mail delivery. The longest postal strike in Canadian history lasted 42 days — and every postal strike has ended.
