Attached is an email we received from Proteccion Animal Ecuador. They are currently investigating the museum in hopes that these llamas can soon be in a better living condition!

This is the English translation:

Hi Ellen!

A thousand apologies that I do not know English.

As soon as possible we will make a visit to the Intiñan museum to verify the situation of the llamas and talk with the owner. We have to review the regulations for this type of animal and the competent authority because unfortunately in our country to not have an animal protection law, we have to refer to ordinances or regulations that are not very clear as to the scope they have as well as in the authorized entities of control.

We will do everything possible to change the living conditions of these llamas and we will keep you informed of what happens.
