First off, thank you all that have signed, shared, and even donated! It is much appreciated.

There are several updates.
1. The 100 Mile House Council is meeting on October 14th at 17:30 (5:30pm) in the municipal council chambers at 385 Birch Ave (Fourth Street entrance).
If you are able, please attend.

2. The CRD is not aware of this project and it sounds like it's a provincial project and the CRD is not involved, but I am awaiting more information.

3. Taseko Mining will be contacting those who they deem as "directly impacted" in the upcoming weeks. If you are not sure if you will be "directly impacted" or if you want to discuss this in more detail directly with them, contact Taseko Mining:

Those who are not deemed "directly impacted" even though you might be "indirectly impacted" as they put it, may not be contacted, so if you want to have a say, reach out to them first.

4. Taseko will apparently have a representative in our area on October 8th, I am waiting to hear back as to where and when specifically.

5. I am waiting to hear back from Taseko as well as BC Hydro as to who I can talk to about the interconnect point and why they are not using the Mica Creek line to power the mine. Mica Creek has two 500kV lines and a capacitor station at the north end of Seymour Arm. They could put in a substation and run from there, through lower valleys, where it is all public land. Personally I would like to know why this is not an option.

Once again, thank you for your support!
The image is of one of the lakes that will be directly impacted and have the power line running through this view.
