We oppose the Tripi Subdivision proposal, development of Bailey Hall, as it currently stands.

Our issues are:

Construction - 15-year development plan, 6-day a week Construction and how this will affect the densely populated surrounding areas and the adjacent elementary school.

Only one egress - New Street for construction vehicles and then for the development. Pleasant St. losing 9.5 feet of land including old-growth trees for New St. widening

Environment - Proposed bedrock blasting, clear cutting of 68% of the property displacing wild life and native species. Impact of blasting on the air we breathe, especially adjacent to the elementary school.  Affect on construction on the aquafer that runs beneath the property. Light pollution from the new homes.

Drainage - Impact to all the surrounding properties that already have flooding.

Traffic - from 21 houses coming from New St every day especially during drop off and pick up of KES students and the neighborhood that doesn't having busing to the school so there are children/parents walking.
