As of today, we have 1531 signatures on our petition! So, thank you so very much to everyone who has signed. This is the future of our community, so these numbers are very important!

We are currently:

· Continuing to deliver flyers and informing our community of this development. (Any help you can provide by passing on the petition link to your family, friends and people you run into would be very much appreciated).

· Communicating with our residents for their feedback.

· Reaching out to Saanich staff to engage and inform them of the issues and concerns identified by Cordova Bay Residents.

· Waiting for Aragon's formal development application to arrive in District of Saanich's inbox.

We will keep you all in the loop here, and let you know our progress.

Again, ALL we are asking is for is thoughtful, area appropriate, reasonable and common-sense development, that helps with the housing needs, but doesn’t destroy the beauty of our area, and ruin it for the next generation. That is it. Super simple. I don’t think that is too much to ask at all.

Also, please see this interesting article link below from the Vancouver Sun, April 3, 2025.

B.C.’s fast-growing cities getting hammered by rapidly rising property taxes.

Thanks everyone!

Best Regards,

Dan Horth
