There has been an update as to the impact of the downgrade on Lanarkshire. Wishaw Neonatal Unit are losing 8 beds mostly intensive care beds & the funding that goes with them. An estimated 52 per year of Lanarkshire's most vulnerable babies will be transferred to Glasgow, Edinburgh or even Aberdeen.
