Proposal for mobile motorcycle safety awareness alerts in May and GPS navigation globally

Proposal for mobile motorcycle safety awareness alerts in May and GPS navigation globally
The Issue
This is a general public safety petition that anyone 16 years or older can sign and share. This is not political whatsoever. Because motorcycle safety is everyone’s safety.
Two extremely inexpensive life saving public safety message reminders.
1: A gentle public safety message reminder similar to amber alert “motorcycle rev” on all mobile devices globally of Motorcycle Safety Awareness (MSA) every May1st and May15th, brought to you by nonprofit (CSF) Clark’s Safety Foundation. As May is national Motorcycle Safety Awareness month.
2: Integrating CSF/MSA motorcycle avatar option with MSA alerts onto all in car navigation systems and mobile GPS navigation systems globally. As there are only vehicle avatar options in the map settings currently, not even acknowledging motorcycles in any of the GPS navigation systems at all.
Hello, my name is Tony Lee Palafox and Clark Prather was more than just my daughter's childhood friend since grade school and boyfriend through high school. I watched him grow up into a God fearing wonderful respectful young gentleman. I watered him and he watered me, Clark was one of the best kinds of young men to have around you and in your family, he was my good friend too. Clark was an integral part of our lives, he was not only very dear to all of us, he was dear to the world. At just 19 years old, standing 6’ 3” with long hair, a big heart and not a violent bone in his body, he was a gentle soul with dreams of joining the army right after high school. Tragically, on 5/15/25 just a week before his graduation Clark was struck and killed by a driver who made a left turn directly in front of him while he was riding his motorcycle, despite him having the green light and the driver having a left blinking yellow arrow. Either not seeing him or looking for him at all. This unbearable loss still echoes in our hearts, and we yearn for his legacy to pave the way for safety and awareness around the world.
In honor of Clark and thousands of motorcyclists who face similar dangers, it's our heartfelt plea to promote global awareness about motorcycle safety. Statistics reveal that over 18 motorcyclists die every day in the nation not including bicyclist and pedestrians. And 85% are caused by driver error, either not seeing or not looking for the motorcyclist and the left turn is the number one on the list. Mainly because the left turn is the hardest for drivers to make as it takes more time to execute. This is when it is most important to “look twice” as well as the right on red being the second worst to motorcyclists fatalities as drivers tend to roll through them without “looking twice”. This is at an alarming rate that urgently calls for immediate preventive measures. To address this crisis, we propose that a Motorcycle Safety Awareness (MSA) public safety reminder brought to you by non-profit Clark’s Safety Foundation (CSF), with gentle “motorcycle rev” be featured on all mobile devices globally, similar to amber alert.
This reminder should appear twice during the month of May, as May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month: once on May 1st and again on May 15th, the day he was hit and killed. This serves as a poignant reminder of the risks that motorcyclists face daily. Additionally, integrating CSF/MSA motorcycle avatar option with MSA alerts onto all in-car navigation and all mobile GPS navigation systems would further reinforce the vital importance of being aware of not only motorcyclists but bicyclists and pedestrians on the road as well.
By signing and supporting this petition, you can help ensure that Clark Prather's legacy is a lasting tribute. Together, we can drive a significant change in public consciousness, save lives, and honor the memories of all those motorcyclists, bicyclists and pedestrians who have lost their lives too soon. Join us in advocating for a safer world for motorcyclists and all who share the road together helping protect riders everywhere. Sign this petition to make motorcycle safety alerts an essential part of our global community's reminder systems. “May” God bless you all and thank you so much for your amazing love and support shown for Clark from all over the world.
