Proposal for Collaborative Partnership with Hovr

The Issue

Dear Hovr Management,

We, a group of dedicated Uber and Lyft drivers, are writing to propose a mutually beneficial partnership with Hovr, a new and innovative ride-sharing platform. As active participants in the gig economy, we understand the challenges and limitations faced by both drivers and customers in the current ride-sharing landscape. We believe that Hovr has the potential to revolutionize the industry, and we are eager to contribute to its success.

Recognizing the early stage of development for Hovr and the challenges inherent in attracting customers to a new platform, we propose a unique subscription model that will benefit both drivers and the company. Specifically, we suggest implementing a one-time subscription fee of $25 for the first 6 months to 1 year, rather than the current monthly fee of $20. This adjusted pricing structure will not only make Hovr more financially accessible to drivers during its initial stages but also incentivize early adoption and loyalty among drivers.

As Hovr gains momentum and accelerates its user base, we are open to discussing alternative pricing models that can maximize profitability for both drivers and the company. This could include transitioning to a $20 monthly subscription fee or exploring the possibility of implementing a flat fee per trip, which has the potential to generate significant revenue for Hovr.

We are fully committed to supporting Hovr's growth and success. In addition to advocating for the proposed subscription model among our fellow drivers, we are prepared to actively market and advertise the Hovr app through various channels. Our collective efforts will help increase awareness and user engagement, ultimately driving growth and profitability for Hovr.

Moreover, we envision a collaborative partnership between Hovr and its driver community, characterized by open communication, mutual respect, and shared goals. By working together, we can address the challenges facing both drivers and the company, and collectively contribute to the development of a more sustainable and equitable ride-sharing ecosystem.

We understand that building a successful ride-sharing platform requires time, effort, and collaboration from all stakeholders involved. Therefore, we urge Hovr management to consider our proposal seriously and engage in constructive dialogue with us to explore ways to implement the suggested subscription model and adapt pricing strategies as the platform evolves.

Thank you for considering our proposal. We look forward to the opportunity to work together with Hovr to create a brighter future for all stakeholders involved.

Sincerely,

26
