Great news is the campaign to free Demetrius "Meach" Burks.

He is preparing for a sentence modification and clemency hearing in 2024. Lawyers are encouraging us to get as many characters letters as possible from family, friends, and other community leaders.

WHAT THE LETTER SHOULD SAY

The letter should tell who you are, what you know of his character, and how he could be useful in society (in terms of his story being impactful to the youth), and how you feel that he have spent his time and learned from his incarceration as a juvenile offender.
