Despite the hardships of being a juvenile offender and spending years in prison, Demetrius is still progressing. In November of 2023 he earned a Recovery While Incarcerated (RWI) certificate. Which is a Purposeful Incarceration Program that provides inpatient/outpatient treatment for Incarcerated individuals geared towards substance abuse and criminal addictive behaviors.
