Prohibit Unfair Animal Handling and Professional Misconduct By Summerville vet clinic

The Issue

This petition stems from a deeply personal experience. My dog, an innocent being and a member of my family, has been held against all rightful claims of ownership by Summerville vet clinic. Located in Summerville , Ga. Even after presenting undeniable evidence, including photographs certifying my ownership, my dog hasn't been returned to me. This upsetting situation exposes a larger issue that requires immediate resolution – that of veterinarians engaging in unprofessional conduct and infringing upon the rights of rightful pet owners.

According to Petfinder, approximately 10 million pets get lost each year, and microchips or other forms of identification lead only 15-20% of them back home(PetFinder statistics). But how can we expect this number to rise if professionals in the industry deny rightful owners their pets even after providing proof? This unethical behaviour should not be allowed to continue.

We propose a two-fold solution: firstly, the veterinarian in question should be stopped from further seizing animals, especially when confronted with proper proof from the rightful owners. Secondly, the proper authority should review their license to receive and house animals due to their demonstrated lack of professionalism.

Let's raise a voice against professional misconduct. Say no to unfair animal handling, and protecting the bond between animals and their rightful owners. It's time to bring about a needed change in this profession. Sign this petition and stand with us in our fight for justice and fair practices in animal care.
