As you may know, the entire world is going through a hard time, thanks to COVID-19. Here in the United States, many Americans are trying to stay safe and healthy by staying indoors as much as possible. As they stay inside to prevent themselves from being infected, they try to find ways to kill time by doing these activities:

• Working at home if they have a job that would let them do that.
• Talking to others on various social media platforms.
• Trying to find ways to make extra money, such as selling homemade face masks.
• Entertaining themselves by streaming shows and movies, playing video games, doing hobbies, etc.
• And many more!

Some people who entertain themselves are forced to face with a recurring nuisance known as a Progressive commercial called “Off the Mara-ket”, as seen above the description. As of this writing, it’s been a month since this commercial has been premiered and ever since then, it has been overplayed to death which has aggravated many people. This recurring nuisance doesn’t make their lives in quarantine any better. If anything, it makes it worse. It’s impossible to avoid this commercial. What’s it going to take to get rid of this commercial? Switching to a “no ads” plan that would be found in a streaming service like Hulu? That won’t do anything to get rid of it because it would still be found other streaming services that have ads and that don’t have a “no ads” plan and on live TV. And before you say could say something like, “Change the channel,” “Hit the mute button,” or “Just turn off the TV for 30 seconds,” and the likes, I should inform you that doing those actions won’t get rid of it at all. Listen, not all of us have the money to switch to a “no ads” plan, especially during these hard times. We are sick and tired of hitting certain buttons on the remote that are incapable of getting rid of that commercial that make life in quarantine worse for some. Seriously, how many times must we keep avoiding the ad so we won’t hear Mara’s laugh that pierces some ears? That’s why I started this petition that will call for a permanent retirement of this overplayed and annoying ad. If you had it with this commercial during these hard times, do not hesitate to sign this petition! Also, do whatever it take to get word out by doing one or more of the following:

• Chipping in. This will get the petition to be advertised more frequently on Change.org and it’s better than spending money on a “no ads” plan for over one annoying commercial!
• Sharing it on social media platforms. Feel free to share this petition on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or whatever social media platforms that you’re on.
• Sending it directly to other people. This can be done by email, SMS, direct messages on Twitter or anything similar.

If you really had it with this irritating commercial, do your part to sign and share! This is for your own good! And speaking of Progressive, allow me say this PSA: if you’re looking for a good insurance company, avoid Progressive. Look for an alternative that won’t nickel and dime you, take advantage of you, and the likes. If you’re with Progressive, stop doing business with them. Now’s the time to switch companies and to seek another company that has better customer service. Don’t be fooled by what Progressive has to say about themselves in and out of the commercials themselves, even if they use Flo and company to talk you in to doing business with them. Stay away from Progressive. Run away from them as soon as you can. Take my advice before it’s too late!
