It’s been less than a day since I started this petition and I’m amazed that the petition has already hit the 10 signatures mark. To everyone who has signed, I urge you to read this update and here’s what I have to say: if there’s one thing that should go viral right now, it’s this very petition that you signed.
If you have some extra money to spare, you can chip in towards this petition and it get this petition to be advertised more. Keep in mind that this better than spending that kind of money on a “no ads” plan that would be found in a streaming service like Hulu just for one commercial that could annoy you. (Just save your money for the things that you need to get through the pandemic!)
If you’re a on social media site, such as Twitter or Facebook, you are more than welcome to share this petition on those platforms. Speaking of social media platforms, you may already know that Progressive is on those platforms. In every post that originate from their accounts, there are some negative comments directed towards Progressive ranging from customers complaining about how Progressive has treated them poorly to people complaining about their commercials, both the customers and non-customers alike. These types of comments can be typically found on Facebook posts like this one, Tweets like this one and even in tweets from @ItsFlo such as this one. And of course, in the comments section of their YouTube videos, such as the one featuring the commercial that must be off the air that’s making our lives quarantine even worse. If you are on those platforms and if you see another user making complaints towards Progressive, regardless if it’s about their service or even just the commercials themselves, do not hesitate to interact with them by urging them to sign the petition! These people need be aware of it, especially when they’ve had it with the commercial with Mara’s cringy laugh!
If you’re not a big fan of posting petition links publicly on your social media accounts for whatever reason, you always have the option to send the petition directly to others in private. Use whatever method that’s to your liking: email, SMS, whatever floats your boat.
Doing one or more of those actions will make this petition become viral! Please do whatever it takes to spread the word! The people who hate this commercial need to be aware of this and they need to sign this for their own good! We can’t let this overplayed ad annoy us anymore, especially when this pandemic gets worse day after day!
