As of lately, Prodigy has been pushing more updates in consideration of F2P (Free to Play) players.

Today, April 7th, 2022, they made fully evolved pets accessible to non-members. The only catch? F2P players can only have 9 pets at a time, but at least this isn't a major problem.

This means that players aren't pressured into memberships for the sake of evolving pets (a members-only feature), and are encouraged to battle (allowing them to answer more questions and practice math).
