I want to make a change for prisoners when they leave prison, I want to change the rules on their licence conditions. The rules and the rights they have over prison leavers is not only diabolical but against human rights, we have served our time yet we find ourselves doing extra time with probation officers who just recall offenders when it suits them. I went to prison for 20 weeks for breeding without a licence and 6 weeks for assault pc. Yet I this was 2 years ago and I went to prison this year in February, now I am currently in a hostel in Northampton witch is 125 miles away from my wife and children. Yet they have given me no valid reason as to why I cannot go home. I have no violence or restraint restrictions on my wife I’ve been married 10 years and have 7 children ,I have asked social services to get involved and Social services have asked the question and yet they got a silly response- “ he has to do what I tell him” he has to be managed in a hostel for up to 12 weeks before he can go home. Yet I know of people who have done a lot worse than me and gone straight home from prison. This needs to change and if I can make a change for myself I can make a change for everyone stuck in this stupid and ridiculous system help me and help others to stop this. They cannot get away with how they treat offenders. One rule for one and another rule for another this is going to stop get behind me let’s change this NOW
