Morrison and Berejiklian's culpability over CSG

0 have signed. Let’s get to 1,000!

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian say coal seam gas is ok – they are trying to sell us the idea that CSG is a transition fuel and that NSW needs the Narrabri Gas Project.

We, the people of Australia say 'No!'

The idea that gas is a transition fuel is an industry talking point which was discredited years ago. When all stages of gas production are included, CSG and other forms of unconventional gas are worse for the climate than coal, and the risks to water and health from this form of energy are unacceptable.

Australia is exporting record amounts of gas already. The idea that NSW needs its own internal supply ignores the fact that we live in a federation.

If Prime Minister Scott Morrison and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian DO NOT watch the film Sacrifice Zone – the story of a real Australian gas crisis, then they are culpable for the damage this industry will visit upon this country.

We know the Premier has received the film, but we don't know if she has actually watched it. As far as we know, Scott Morrison has not seen it, although he has had the opportunity.

If Prime Minister Scott Morrison and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian DO watch the film Sacrifice Zone – the story of a real Australian gas crisis, and DO NOT act upon the facts in the film, then they are culpable for the damage this industry will visit upon this country.

Sacrifice Zone – the story of a real Australian gas crisis contains more than enough information from scientists, financial experts and medical professionals, as well as anecdotal evidence from people already devastated by this scourge, to prove that CSG is NOT a transition to anything but death and destruction.

Industry has never challenged the facts presented in this film. The science is not wrong!

We the people of Australia demand that the Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian take 100 minutes out of their very busy lives, just 100 minutes, (they can watch it over a long lunch), to watch Sacrifice Zone – the story of a real Australian gas crisis, then explain to us why gas is a good transition fuel.

Why does the backyard of NSW need to be sacrificed?

Scott and Gladys,

Sacrifice Zone – the story of a real Australian gas crisis
there is no excuse…

Our planet and our children and their children, deserve better than a short term solution that will cause irreversible and catastrophic damage to our land, water and air.
