Why this petition matters

It was one thing to take away the Koh-i-Noor diamond and various other relics & artefacts from other countries in the past, but current news of Camilla about to wear/possess the crown with the Koh-i-Noor diamond when Charles becomes King is just disrespectful to the sentiments of India's culture, heritage and its people (including any other countries that share roots).

Such artefacts and relics possessed during the British rule may not be returned but should at the least be respected, and not be reused for the purpose of coronation or royal proceedings, repeating what was done in the past and sparking further controversy.

Requesting people who share these emotions and concerns to sign this petition so as to bring this to the notice of relevant dignitaries that can take action - to stop this cycle peacefully, in respect of the people and their culture related to certain relics and artefacts possessed by the United Kingdom and/or its royal subjects.
