What is Ivermectin?

Ivermectin is a medicine, it is an old drug.

Ivermectin is effective, safe and cheap. Ivermectin saves lives.

Ivermectin Properties

Ivermectin inhibits the replication of many viruses, including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and others;

Ivermectin blocks the spike protein;

Ivermectin has potent anti-inflammatory properties with multiple mechanisms of inhibition;

Ivermectin diminishes viral load and protects against organ damage in animal models;

Ivermectin prevents transmission of COVID-19 when taken either pre- or post-exposure;

Ivermectin hastens recovery and decreases hospitalization and mortality in patients with COVID-19;

Ivermectin leads to far lower case-fatality rates in regions with widespread use.

"Although ivermectin cannot be directly compared to a vaccine, let’s look at its efficacy. Research has demonstrated that using this medicine for prophylaxis can reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection by 92.5%. This is based on seven controlled trials on over 2,600 patients. Six of these were prospective trials, as opposed to the retrospective studies that some opposed to other preventative COVID-19 treatments have criticized. Three of those six were both prospective and randomized, meeting anyone’s standard for a credible study.

National and local health authorities around the world, from India to Japan to Mexico City and many places in between, have advocated for or adopted ivermectin as a standard of care for COVID-19. In this fight against a global pandemic, many are realizing that we can’t afford to ignore any treatment, let alone one with such good results.

The science shows that ivermectin works. Over 40 randomized trials and observational studies from around the world attest to its efficacy against the novel coronavirus. Meta-analyses by four separate research groups, including ours, found an average reduction in mortality of between 68%-75%. And 10 of 13 randomized controlled trials found statistically significant reductions in time to viral clearance, an effect not associated with any other COVID-19 therapeutic. Furthermore, ivermectin has an unparalleled safety record and low cost, which should negate any fears or resistance to immediate adoption."

“It’s criminal,” Dr Pierre Kory said. “It’s literally criminal.” The drug “could have saved half a million lives this year if it had been approved.”

Allow Ivermectin in Malaysia so doctors can treat their patients better.

Just like how COVID-19 shifted in Zimbabwe, Peru and India.

Sifat Ivermectin 

Ivermectin menghalang replikasi banyak virus, termasuk SARS-CoV-2, influenza, dan lain-lain;

"Walaupun ivermectin tidak dapat dibandingkan secara langsung dengan vaksin, mari kita lihat keberkesanannya. Penyelidikan telah membuktikan bahawa jika menggunakan ubat ini untuk profilaksis, kita dapat mengurangkan risiko jangkitan COVID-19 sebanyak 92.5%. Ini berdasarkan tujuh percubaan terkawal pada lebih dari 2,600 pesakit. Dalam perjuangan menentang  pandemic global ini,, banyak yang menyedari bahawa kita tidak mampu mengabaikan sebarang rawatan apa pun, apatah lagi jika  hasilnya mengagumkan. .

Kajian-kajian saintifik menunjukkan bahawa ivermectin berfungsi. Lebih daripada 40 percubaan dan kajian pemerhatian di seluruh dunia membuktikan keberkesanannya terhadap novel coronavirus. Meta-analisis oleh empat kumpulan penyelidikan yang berasingan, termasuk kumpulan kami, mendapati penurunan purata kematian antara 68% -75%. Seterusnya, 10 daripada 13 percubaan terkawal secara rawak mendapati pengurangan masa yang signifikan secara statistik untuk penghapusan virus, kesan yang tidak berkaitan dengan terapi COVID-19 yang lain. COLOSSAL FAILURE TO SAVE LIVES

To whom it may concern,

When officials, including physicians, are blind to the numerous positive results on Ivermectin studies and choose to see only the weak side of how the studies were conducted, one is forced to assume that these officials and physicians have fallen prey to hierarchical medical systems that use misinformation and manufactured data to forge medical opinion.

I am a medical doctor with eyes and ears for scientific arguments, and with a conscience to patients’ sufferings and need for a quick cure. Ivermectin promises to be a solution and potential game-changer in our Covid war. I’m writing this petition to give voice to tens of thousands who clamour for Ivermectin to be legalised and swiftly distributed in the current surging infection and death rates. The current alarming situation where Covid patients are being housed in open spaces of hospitals is a stark indication to use Ivermectin as a prophylactic and therapeutic agent to complement vaccines.

Currently there is an orchestrated disinformation campaign to demonise Ivermectin. A clear example is in the ‘Debate to Resolve’ event on 11 July organised by the College of Physicians where four Malaysian doctors debated against two foreign doctors (Dr Pierre Kory and Dr Jackie Stone).

Our Malaysian doctors’ main argument was merely picking on the weakness of how randomised controlled trials (RCTs) on Ivermectin were conducted, and as such they parrot the official tagline of ‘no conclusive evidence’. Shamefully, our local doctors ignored the systematic reviews of RCTs (accepted gold standard evidence) that showed Ivermectin significantly reduced mortality, days of hospitalisation, reduced viral loads, and shortened time to recovery.

Besides, these doctors quoted outdated studies. Some studies quoted were flawed and designed to show negative results in Ivermectin, and where researchers received grants from industrial interest. They brought forth lame arguments and were an embarrassment to the medical fraternity. On whose side were they on, and why has Ivermectin become the victim in this disinformation war?

Dr Kory and Dr Stone presented compelling evidence and shared clinical experience to highlight how Ivermectin has helped their fight in the war against Covid. They mentioned the current example of nations like India, Argentina, Mexico, Slovakia, Czech Republic and several other countries that have successfully controlled infection and deaths with Ivermectin. Our local ‘champions’ refused to see the positive side of Ivermectin. One doctor cheekily said there was no published report regarding the successful use of Ivermectin by those nations.

One cannot help but think of this pandemic, with orchestration from abroad and our local physicians participating unknowing, as a plandemic.

I know of many doctors out there waking up to the fact that the powers that be do not want the pandemic to be over. Our group may be small but we’re growing. We know there are others hell-bent on milking every cent from the pandemic. Influence falls into deeply polarised camps and unnecessary control is exerted on Ivermectin that has shown to save lives.

Dr Kory made a statement during the debate saying the WHO, with its link to financial and industrial interest, could not be trusted. I agree with him. In today’s globalisation, the people can access scientific information easily. The people are beginning to lose trust on the world bodies. They will soon lose trust in our own health officials and local doctors.

We can help the people, especially those who cannot be safely covered by vaccine, just legalise use of Ivermectin.
We can better implement combined drug therapy to treat Covid before it totally hits the hospitals, just legalise use of Ivermectin.
We can effectively stop the clusters from developing, just legalise use of Ivermectin.
We can hopefully save what is left of our economy, just legalise the use of Ivermectin.
We can effectively work together to WIN the Covid war, if we implement a targeted use of Ivermectin at the appropriate dose and duration.

There is a colossal failure to act on the available evidence on Ivermectin and has cost lives and livelihoods of Malaysians.
