The date for Australia Day needs to be changed. We are all proud of this country but Jan 26th is not a date to be proud of. It is the day the British Monarchy started their invasion of this country, behind a story of untruths and deception, and systematically attempted to wipe out the world’s oldest unbroken cultural continuum, the First Nations People of Australia. Year after year the country celebrates the first day of this massacre, and year after year we force our indigenous people to watch on.

Surely, we as a Nation can do better than this. JAN 26th IS NOT AUSTRALIA DAY, IT IS THE DAY THE BRITISH MONARCHY INVADED AUSTRALIA!! A true Australia day is one that includes all Australians especially and most importantly the rightful owners of this country.
