It’s amazing that Ruby’s petition has now gathered over 25k supporters and keeps going. As we have all seen - the damage that social media can cause in younger generations is immense, the platforms grow bigger and so do the problems attached to them. So it encouraging to see that government in the UK is slowly edging towards legislating social media content…but ! ! There is still a long way to go and so much more to do . Keep supporting, keep signing and keep sharing - Please ! Ruby would have been 21 last week and there is never a day goes by that my heart doesn’t break and I wish I could rewind time…but I can’t. However together we can make the future safer and hope that eventually all children can live a childhood, grow, mature and function without the pressures, misery and heartache that social media causes for them.
