FREE KISKA from Marine Land she's the only killer whale in the world held alone

The Issue

Kiska is the only killer whale held in captivity in Canada. She was captured from her family over 40 years ago near Iceland and held in a tiny pool at Marineland located in Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. In the wild orcas swim 100+ miles a day they are highly social animals and stay with there pod (family) there whole lives. Kiska is held alone in a concrete pool where she can only swim around in circles. Kiska was also used for breeding at Marine Land and she watched all 5 of her calves die. Dr Naomi Rose a marine mammal scientist said that Kiska is "the worlds loneliest orca". We feel that Marineland is in direct violation of the OSPCA Act Standards Of Care and we are asking WHY Kiska is not receiving help from the OSPCA and our government? We feel that without an immediate removal to another captive facility which can better facilitate her, she will die alone in a concrete tank. Ontario has already banned the sale of orcas so let's Free the only one still held in captivity. We are asking that Kiska be retired to a sea pen to live the rest of her life free from her prison cell and in the ocean where she belongs.
