The Tiger is a  unique animal, which plays a pivotal role in the health and diversity of an ecosystem. It is a top predator which is at the apex of the food chain and keep the population of wild ungulated in check, thereby maintaing the balance between prey herbivores and the vegetation upon which they feed.

Tigers are an integral part of India's identity. They are national animals of India and share a picture with elephants and rhinos in the ten rupee note to signify the diversity of Indian wildlife. People come from all over the world to see tigers and help generate large revenue in tourism.

It is my humble request to our Prime minister to put some needful measures to protect Bengal Tigers and save their habitats.These measures will not only help tigers but numerous other animals.
