Reinstate "Majority of Ethiopian People Are Amaras"

0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!

We are asking the Abiy Ahmed, the prime minister of Ethiopia, as well as the UN, US, AU, EU, Russia, China, S. Korea, Israel, and all other world leaders in to help reinstate the record that the majority of Ethiopian ethnic group is the Amara. The Amara ethnic group is the largest population in Ethiopia, but their numbers were deliberately decreased by separatist groups such as the Tigre People Liberation Front (TPLF), Oromo Liberation Front and Eritrea Liberation Front in 1991. The Amaras, who are majority of Ethiopian people, fought for the unity of Ethiopia against the TPLF, OLF, EPLF and their sponsors for a total of 30 years. The Oromo are instead the second largest ethnic group in Ethiopia and were instituted as the majority population in order to use their fabricated numbers to divide Ethiopia. The US government/United States Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Herman Cohen played a large role in assisting the three rebel separatists groups to divide Ethiopia by claiming the Oromo were the major ethnic group, and using them as a platform for controlling the decision making. Outside nations that delve into Ethiopian affairs, namely the US, UK, Egypt, United Emirati, Saudi and other Arab nations, want our people to be led by an ethnic group that accepts the unrest and separation between Eritrea and Ethiopia. We’ve seen a big example of this in the exclusive meeting that was organized by the US, headed by President George H.W. Bush in 1991 in conjunction with the UK, which included the rebel group leaders Meles Zenawi, Isaias Afewerki, and Lencho Leta, while deliberately by excluding other Ethiopian political group leaders.

We ask that you sign this petition in favor of the re-evaluation and thereafter reinstatement of the Amara as the major ethnic group in Ethiopia. We ask that the UN take part in conducting a fair census so that the Ethiopian people feel free and safe to declare their true ethnic identities without threat to their lives or livelihood, as has been done in the past. We ask this in order to thwart the mission of outside groups to control Ethiopia and instead protect our country, its political system, and the 2020 Ethiopian election.
