Chef Mark is more than just a chef to all of us at Alpha Chi Omega, University of Kansas. He has been a house dad, friend, and support system for every member. Through our worst and best moments, he has always been there for us. His loyalty and dedication have made him an integral part of our sorority life.

His dismissal would not only be an unfair act but also a massive loss to our community. As per the Bureau of Labor Statistics report in 2019, employee turnover in the hospitality industry was as high as 78.9%. However, Chef Mark's unwavering commitment to his role over the years sets him apart from this statistic and further shows his loyalty to Alpha Chi Omega and the members within. 

We are not just fighting for one person's job; we are standing up for someone who has made a significant difference in all our lives. The unjust dismissal of such dedicated employees undermines their loyalty and can potentially discourage others from giving their best.

Therefore, we urge Alpha Chi Omega Head Quarters to reconsider their decision about dismissing Chef Mark and using a larger food service instead.
