I love modern media. It provides a rich tapestry of diverse ideas and creativity that inspire millions every day. However, expressing enthusiasm for contemporary shows, movies, music, and art shouldn't be a hazard. I've been living in fear of potential threats from individuals unable to accept and respect my interests.

This fear isn't just limited to me. Countless others have shared similar experiences, facing verbal abuse, cyberbullying, and threats just because they expressed admiration for the innovations of our time. Online platforms, meant to be spaces of sharing and connection, are turning into arenas of hostility and aggression.

Did you know that a report from the Cyberbullying Research Center indicates a 70% increase in cyberbullying related to personal interests over the last decade? These staggering numbers spotlight a deeply unsettling trend: fans of modern media are being unfairly targeted for merely having different tastes than others.

Social media companies must take a stand. It's their responsibility to proactively protect users from harassment. Implementing stricter monitoring of threatening behavior, creating more accessible reporting systems, and enforcing severe consequences for offenders are crucial measures to safeguard users.

We all deserve to enjoy our digital spaces without fearing backlash or intimidation. Imagine an online world where freedom of expression isn't suppressed by the threat of bullying. It's achievable if we demand action now.

More specifically: innocent users are being threatened with murder, physical violence and rape along with being falsely accused of racism and pedophilia just for the perpetrators to boost  their own ego and claim all modern media is “garbage and a disgrace to old cartoons” along with calling their victims “retarded for liking it” which shows they are the worst of humanity and must be punished, not to mention that one of them is demanding all American movie studios shut down because they are “a disgrace to old movies” which will never happen with an excuse like that!

And god forbid these horrible people ever start a family because there’s every possibility that they will show the same feelings towards modern media onto their own children and wives, some may even punish their own children just because they got caught watching K-Pop Demon Hunters and being called something really offensive just because they like it!
