Dear Community,

Thank you for signing the petition to save the London Plane tree on Union Street McMahons Point. There are over 110 signatures to date and this community support speaks volumes. 

We’ve sought independent advice about the tree’s health and longevity from a level 5 arborist and they said that it was premature to remove the tree. They advised us to leave it for the winter and to reassess its health again then. 

Douglas Foster from North Sydney Council will be onsite at 45 union Street to discuss the council’s point of view this Thursday 18th April at 9am. Please join the discussion. I look forward to seeing some of you there.
