Prevent the euthanasia of marine animals at Marineland

Prevent the euthanasia of marine animals at Marineland
The issue
In the heart of Niagara Falls, lies Marineland—a place that many would assume to be a sanctuary for marine life. However, it has become a site of suffering and despair for many of its inhabitants. Currently, 30 beluga whales, 4 dolphins, 3 seals, and 2 sea lions are stuck in abandoned tanks, and the beautiful beluga whales are under the threat of euthanasia with the rest of the beloved sea creatures might end up with the same threat to euthanasia.
These innocent and beautiful creatures have been cruelly stolen from their families and pods. They have been denied their natural rights to roam free and live in the open oceans, which is their rightful habitat. Instead, they are confined in captivity, in conditions that starkly contrast the environment they were born to enjoy.
These beautiful beings deserve to live happy, healthy lives in a setting that mirrors their natural surroundings—the ocean, not concrete tanks. We have a moral duty to ensure that these animals are moved to ocean sanctuaries where they can rediscover the freedom stolen from them.
There's an imminent risk that these animals could be euthanized due to their current situation. Euthanasia should never be an option for creatures who can thrive if given the opportunity to transition to spacious sanctuaries designed for marine animals.
Marineland must take responsibility for the care and relocation of these marine mammals. The globally recognized rehabilitation facilities and ocean sanctuaries are ready and equipped to give these animals the second chance they desperately need.
Join me in urging Marineland and the relevant authorities to take immediate action. We can save these majestic creatures from a tragic fate and give them the lives they were meant to live. Every signature counts as a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
Please sign this petition to save the 30 belugas, 4 dolphins, 3 seals, and 2 sea lions from euthanasia and open the doors to real freedom and happiness for them.
