I have had the privilege of working at the Angel Centre in Tonbridge for over 19 years. This centre is more than just a building; it's a vital part of our community. It has served as a hub for countless events, bringing together people from all walks of life and fostering a sense of unity and camaraderie. However, this beloved institution is now under threat - plans are underway to demolish it.

The Angel Centre isn't just an asset to our community because of its history or sentimental value; it also holds significant economic potential. With proper investment from the council into maintaining its infrastructure and developing an engaging event schedule, this venue could continue to serve as a vibrant gathering place that contributes positively to our local economy.
