A Message to the People of Walsall and Bloxwich

To the residents of Walsall and Bloxwich, I want to speak to you directly today to clear up the rumours and provide an honest update on where the campaign stands.

I have not gone anywhere; I have never left.

Since August 2024, I have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to fight for Sneyd. This is about far more than a school building. Sneyd is a community asset, an educational resource, and a facility that still has the potential to serve future generations.

Once it is gone, it is gone FOREVER.

Today, I met with our newly elected borough councillors, and I would like to thank them for taking the time to listen and engage with the concerns being raised by residents.

My message was simple and clear.

I am still fighting for Sneyd, and I continue to stand alongside the people of Reedswood.

The Reedswood community has made its position known regarding the proposed school development; they wish to keep their woodland. I respect their views, just as I respect the concerns of parents and residents across Bloxwich, who have contacted me.

My aim has always been to find a solution that benefits everyone while ensuring local children have access to quality education within their own community.

While housing development is not the primary focus of my campaign, I recognise the pressures facing the borough and have put forward realistic alternatives during discussions with local representatives.

My approach has always been based on dialogue, evidence, and constructive engagement. Rather than focusing on confrontation.

During today's meeting, I made it clear that parents of both mainstream and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) children deserve to be heard. I have put forth the opportunity for you to be heard.

I remain fully committed to supporting SEND provision after finding out what I have on the matter. Children with additional needs deserve access to facilities and support that allow them to thrive. I have therefore put forward alternative options that I believe deserve serious consideration.

At the same time, we must address the wider pressures facing local education. Many schools are operating at or near capacity. Teachers need manageable class sizes, and children deserve the opportunity to learn in environments where they can receive the attention and support they need.

No child should be left without access to a suitable school place within their local area.

The Campaign Continues.

I have requested further meetings with key officials and decision-makers because the need for action is becoming increasingly urgent, and time is not on our side.

Our children need school places. Parents need certainty. Communities need to be heard.

I have been genuinely overwhelmed by the support shown throughout this campaign, and I want to thank everyone who has stood alongside me and signed, and I mean that.

However, the work is far from finished. And the petition still stands!

I may be speaking on behalf of many residents, particularly in Bloxwich, but this campaign belongs to all of us. As Walsall is one!

Please continue to support the campaign, share information, and encourage others to engage with the facts.

Let us move beyond RUMOURS and LIES! And focus on finding practical solutions that work for your children, your community, and your future.

I am still HERE!

I am still FIGHTING!

Thank you for your continued support and trust.
